Day 1: Boarding the coach following your home taxi collection, we travel to the Kinmel Hotel in Abergele, North Wales for our overnight stay. There will be ample time to settle in before dinner.
Day 2: An early departure for the journey to Holyhead, arriving in good time to check in and board our ferry, for the crossing to Dublin. Upon arrival, we disembark the ferry to make our way across country, to the Falls Hotel, Ennistymon for our four night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
Day 3: We spend the morning at the Ulster American Folk Park, one of the country's Most impressive Museums. Costumed re-enactments, themed exhibits and traditional crafts bring to life the epic story of Ireland’s emigration from the thatched cottage of Ulster to the American Frontier. After our visit we continue to Enniskillen, built on a natural island at the midpoint of Lough Erne, the largest of the Fermanagh lakes. This attractive waterside setting bustles with boats in the summer and has many lively pubs and restaurants. Visit the prominent 16th century castle, home to the Royal Fusiliers, make time to visit the Buttermarket, a restored dairy market from the early 1800's with a range of Irish craft workshops, studios and galleries. This evening, weather permitting, we have the highlight of the tour, our Sunset Dinner Cruise on the hotel’s own private river cruiser. We will explore the beauty of Lough Erne aboard the “Lady of the Lake” as we enjoy dinner.
Please Note: If cruise is cancelled through inclement weather, the dinner cruise we be arrange an alternative day but this is subject to availability, otherwise dinner will be served in the hotel.
Day 4: Today we will explore the Fermanagh Lakelands starting with a lakeside drive to Belleek, with included entry to Irelands oldest pottery established in 1857. The pretty scenery continues past Lough Melvin and Lough MacNean to Florence Court, an 18th century stately home and gardens set beneath the Cuilcagh Mountains.
Day 5: At leisure to explore your surroundings or join us on an included excursion as we follow the North West coast to Silgo. Renowned for its history, culture and magical mythology Sligo is the vibrant heart of the north-west. Incredible mountains form a stunning backdrop to the town, including Benbulben which oversees the Atlantics roar and King Mountains. (This excursion will be carried out by a local Irish coach company, as this will be our driver’s day off.)
Day 6: Departing our hotel we make our way to Dublin for some free time, before continuing to the port to check in for our sailing to Holyhead. On arrival, we disembark the ferry for the journey to our overnight hotel the Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon.
Day 7: We depart our overnight hotel in North Wales for the return journey to Norfolk. On arrival our door to door service will be waiting to return you home.
