Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th February 2024

Join us for a fantastic big band weekend with music and dancing by the legendary Todd Miller and the Joe Loss Orchestra. We also incorporate a full day at leisure in Harrogate, as well as visits to Melton Mowbray & historic Lincoln.

Day 1: From your local joining point we join our luxury tour coach and make our way to the market town of Melton Mowbray. We have free time to explore and maybe enjoy one of the famous pork pies from ‘Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe, as well as the local Stilton cheeses. We later continue our journey North to Harrogate and the Old Swan Hotel, arriving mid-afternoon.

Day 2: Today is free for you to explore the pretty town of Harrogate. Enjoy a lovely stroll through beautiful Valley Gardens, explore the delightful Victoria arcades for some retail therapy. Have a relaxing lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bars – maybe even visit the famous ‘Betty’s Tearooms’. Later, we return to the hotel to get ready for our entertainment evening. This begins with a pre-dinner drink, followed by our Gala Dinner and tonight’s extravaganza and the highlight of the weekend – an evening with the legendary Joe Loss Orchestra, now led by Todd Miller. Since 1930 the band has never disbanded or reformed. It has been in constant operation throughout the world with Britain’s best musicians and singers performing totally live. The Big Band and singers will perform hits from the 50’s to the 80’s.

The Orchestra, led today by the very talented Todd Miller, is now Britain's longest running live entertainment company of all time, and next year will be there 90th year. And Todd's 50th year with the Orchestra. We're proud to present on of the UKs most versatile and successful dance and party orchestras you'll ever have the pleasure of seeing and listening to.

Day 3: After a leisurely breakfast we depart our hotel and head to the historic City of Lincoln with its magnificent Cathedral and Norman Castle. The old town is a labyrinth of little alleyways, interesting shops and quaint tea rooms.  We then continue our journey back to Norfolk and our local joining points.
