One of the premier resorts on the Cornish Riviera founded on centuries of nautical history. Falmouth is a charming old port with a year-round mild climate that allows sub-tropical gardens to flourish and boasts one of the highest average sunshine records in Britain. The resort has a famous large natural harbour, narrow cobbled streets, olde-worlde inns, and many historical buildings.

Day 1: Following your home pickup, we make our way to Falmouth for 5 nights dinner, bed and breakfast at the three star Falmouth Hotel.

Day 2: Following breakfast, we enjoy an excursion visiting two historic Conish ports. Our first stop is to the picture postcard village of Polperro. A maze of lanes, alleyways and slate hung whitewashed higgle-di-piggledy cottages which lead down to a picturesque and truly unspoilt harbour. Later we continue to Mevagissey. Narrow streets and steep valley sides lead down to the centre of the old Mevagissey where the distinctive twin harbour provides a haven for the many fishing boats that land their daily catch. In typical picture postcard style, cafes and shops cluster around the harbour walls.

Day 3: Day at leisure.
(Access to the Falmouth town area is an approximately 15-minute walk and quite hilly)

Day 4: After breakfast, our first stop is at Lands’ End. One of Britain’s best loved landmarks, famous for its unique location and beautiful scenery. We continue to the ancient market town of Penzance with its pretty harbour and level seafront. Famous for its pirates, well the singing variety anyway, Penzance is a historic port on the south facing shores of Mount’s Bay and has one of the mildest climates in the UK. Later we continue to Porthleven. Set in the middle of a huge sweeping bay, this historic port town exudes Cornish charm and tradition. Small fishing boats land their daily catch, much of which is sold in Porthleven to the cafes and restaurants and award winning Quayside fishmongers.

Day 5: Today we have a full day excursion covering the Lizard Peninsular with spectacular views of Mounts Bay from Lizard Point, the southernmost point in England. The scenery is dramatic as towering walks of cliffs and magnificent rock pinnacles stretch down to turbulent seas. We pause in Lizard, Britain's most southerly village, where it will be possible to take the 20 min walk to Lizard point from the coach park. We later visit Trebah Gardens, an exotic sub-tropical garden, voted in the top 100 Gardens in the world. Famous for its cascading waterfalls, ponds with giant Koi Carp and streams, which winds down to its private beach.

Day 6: After breakfast sadly, we must leave to begin our homeward journey, where our door to door service will be waiting to take you home.
