Day 1: Following your home taxi collection, we make our way to Barnstaple and the Royal & Fortescue Hotel for our four night stay.
Day 2: We travel through the Exmoor National Park. A beautiful landscape of moorland, woodland, coast, and rivers to the harbour village of Lynmouth, which is linked to Lynton by the funicular Cliff Railway, the highest and the steepest totally water powered railway in the world! This afternoon we depart for the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway at Woody Bay Station, for a for a 30-minute, two-mile round trip through some of the loveliest countrysides in North Devon.
Day 3: Day at leisure to explore this lovely town with its pannier market.
Day 4: After breakfast, we make our way towards Great Torrington and RHS Rosemoor Gardens, an enchanting 65-acre garden offering year-round interest. Rosemoor is nestled in a sheltered valley in between Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks and blends formal and informal plantings giving a wonderful effect. Later we continue to the historic port town of Bideford. An attractive town that was once Britain’s third-largest port. The lovely old bridge crossing the Torridge linking the town of Bideford to its neighbouring village East the Water. This impressive, arched stone bridge was built in 1535.
Day 5: After a leisurely breakfast we return to Norfolk, making suitable stops en-route. Upon arrival, our door to door service will be waiting to return you home.
