Join us on this 5 day holiday to Blackpool, widely regarded as Britain’s most popular seaside resort. Take a trip up the famous Blackpool Tower, which stands at 158 metres over the town, or stroll down the newly renovated South Promenade. Discover contemporary artwork by pop artist Sir Peter Blake and the glittery spectacle that is the world’s largest Mirror Ball in the Great Promenade Show. The magnificent Winter Gardens have a fantastic programme of unmissable events from award-winning West End to big-name music concerts, as well as the Blackpool Grand Theatre. On the included excursions we visit beautiful Lake Windermere as well as a visit to historic Lancaster.

We also include a full entertainment program on this tour.

Day 1: Following your home taxi collection, we make our way to the President Hotel in Blackpool for our 4 night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2: Our excursion takes us to the picturesque village of Grasmere. William Wordsworth talked about his beloved Grasmere home in the 19th century, and it was as true then as it is today. Taking its name from the adjacent lake, the village unwinds through a gentle valley overlooked by Helm Crag and its anthropomorphic rock formation The Lion and the Lamb. We continue to the popular town of Bowness. Situated on the shores of Lake Windermere, this dynamic town boasts many fine cultural and historical attractions, cafes, and restaurants.

Day 3: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before having a free day to explore and enjoy Blackpool.  Take a trip up the famous Blackpool Tower, which stands at 158 metres over the town, or stroll down the newly renovated South Promenade. Discover contemporary artwork by pop artist Sir Peter Blake and the glittery spectacle that is the world’s largest Mirror Ball in the Great Promenade Show - there is lots to see and do.

Day 4: Todays excursion takes us to Lancaster, one of England’s ‘Heritage Cities’. During your visit why not head to Lancaster’s castle and museums to uncover the city’s ancient stories hidden in its walls and buildings and find out more about the people who shaped its history. Maybe stroll the meandering towpaths of the canal or along St George’s Quay, marvelling at the Georgian architecture which lines the banks of the River Lune. Or maybe explore the secret paths of Williamson Park and discover its hidden follies and stunning Edwardian designed butterfly house. This afternoon we travel to the seaside town of Morecambe. Stroll along Morecambe’s award-winning promenade with an ice cream and enjoy the views across the bay or perhaps visit the boutique stores and gift shops along the main strip. We then return to our hotel for our final night of entertainment.

Day 5: After breakfast, we make the journey back to Norfolk making suitable stops en route. Upon arrival, our door to door service will be waiting to return you home.
