Take in the delights of Yorkshire on this 5-day tour, staying at Warner’s stunning Nidd Hall. Residing amidst 45 acres of historic grounds and award-winning gardens, Nidd Hall combines a fantastic location with first-class facilities, including a fishing lake, indoor pool, sauna, steam room and two restaurants serving up a host of delicious cuisines. The perfect base to explore from, we'll discover York, which is home to York Minster and the charming Shambles – enjoy the quirky boutiques and cheerful cafés that line this famous street. We also Visit Skipton the gateway to the dales and Grassington.

Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we join our luxury tour coach and head to Yorkshire, making suitable stops en route.

Day 2: This morning, after a leisurely breakfast we make our way to York, where upon arrival we have an included guided coach tour. The rest of the day is then free to enjoy at your leisure. Rich in ancient history, romantic ambience and fun activities, York is renowned for its exquisite architecture, tangle of quaint cobbled streets, iconic York Minster and wealth of visitor attractions. Delve into the city's vibrant café culture, take time out to enjoy the famous shambles, Jorvik centre, or even the railway museum.

Day 3: We spend today at leisure to enjoy the facilities at the hotel. Take time to make the most of the large swimming pool, try your hand at archery, or maybe enjoy a game of tennis.

Day 4: This morning we head out into the Yorkshire Dales, with our first stop being the market town of Skipton, the Gateway to the Dales. With its famous 900 year old castle, romantic ruined priory and historic cobbled High Street, Skipton is endlessly rich both in history and outstanding natural beauty. Take a stroll around the town and explore some of the interesting alleyways and shops. After some free time, we head to Grassington. With its stone cottages, rather grand town hall (the former Mechanics Institute) and busy cobbled square, this former lead mining village is a focal point for local and visitor activity.

Day 5: Sadly after breakfast we depart our hotel and head back to Norfolk making suitable stops en route. Upon arrival our door to door service will be waiting to take you home.

Warners Nidd Hall ****

Built in the 18th century by a wealthy Bradford wool merchant, Nidd is a potpourri of architectural styles. Rumour has it that Edward VIII met Wallis Simpson at a party here – and the hotel have maintained the tradition by giving guests a party every night with first class live music, comedy and dancing. Nidd Hall is set in 45 acres with award winning gardens where you can cast a rod on the fishing lake or, from some of the rooms, cast your eyes over the spectacular Yorkshire countryside.
