Day 1: Following your taxi collection from home, we travel to Minehead arriving late afternoon at the Northfield hotel for our 4 night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2: Today, we take a scenic drive to the beautiful historic market town of Dulverton. This beautiful historic market town is situated on the River Barle and has the oldest medieval bridge on Exmoor. Dulverton has more than 40 wonderful independent shops, award winning restaurants, pubs, and tea rooms. Departing Dulverton we make our way to Exford and Dunkery Beacon before returning to the hotel.
Day 3: Day at leisure to explore Minehead. Take a stroll along the promenade or enjoy a heritage steam train journey on board the North Somerset Railway (not included).
Day 4: After breakfast our excursion takes us through the Exmoor National Park via the coast to visit the Valley of the Rocks, Lynton and Lynmouth. The rural town of Lynton provides the ideal base to discover the wild serene beauty of this stretch of the North Devon coastline. Standing high on the rugged cliff face above the picturesque harbour village of Lynmouth, where the Exmoor National Parks meets the sea, Lynton is an attractive village with a timeless appeal. It’s elevated position delivers the most exquisite panoramic views that you could ever wish to encounter, combining majestic seascapes, sweeping moorland and luring sheltered bays. It’s no wonder the Victorians affectionately referred to the region as ‘Little Switzerland’. Continuing our journey, we travel along the beautiful coastline where the story of Lorna Doone unfolds, continuing to Porlock before returning to the hotel.
Day 5: Sadly we depart for Norfolk making suitable stops en route. On arrival our door to door taxi service awaits to return you home.
