Warners Cricket St Thomas

Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we join our luxury tour coach and head to Somerset and our hotel for the next 4 nights, the stunning Warners Hotel Cricket St Thomas.

Day 2: This morning we take a leisurely drive to Sidmouth. The town itself nestles beneath the majestic red cliffs of Peak and Salcombe Hill and the green hills of the glorious Sid Valley, located on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Renowned for its gardens and famed for its wealth of fine architecture, the picturesque town centre offers an excellent range of individual shops and is a delight to browse. This afternoon we make our way to Exmouth. As one of the most picturesque coastal towns on the south coast, expect to see beautiful beaches, dramatic cliffs and traditional seaside delights.

Day 3: We spend today at leisure to enjoy the facilities at the hotel. Why not take a relaxing dip in the pool, try your hand at archery or enjoy a tour of the grounds.

Day 4: Today we visit Sherborne. Nestled in green valleys and wooded hills, Sherborne is without doubt, one of the most beautiful towns in England. Medieval and mellow-stoned, this Dorset gem has a reputation for art and antiques. With its abundance of ancient and beautiful buildings, superb Abbey, picturesque Almshouse and two Castles (one built by Sir Walter Raleigh), Sherborne’s many attractions make for a captivating visit. This afternoon we continue to Shaftesbury, one of the oldest and highest towns in England, which dominates what Thomas Hardy called the ‘engirdled and secluded’ Blackmore Vale. Gold Hill was made famous by the Hovis bread advertisement with its steep cobbled streets and picturesque cottages.

Day 5: Sadly this morning we depart our hotel and make our way back to Norfolk where our taxi service will be waiting to return you home.
