Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we join our luxury tour coach and head north to our hotel for the next 4 nights, making suitable stops en route. Upon arrival we will enjoy tea/coffee & biscuits whilst our luggage is taken to our rooms.
Day 2: Today we travel to Dumfries where your free to explore at leisure. Perhaps visit the Robert Burns House, enjoy a stroll along the River Neith, or dine in one of the many cafes and restaurants.. Later we visit Annandale distillery who still use traditional methods to manufacture single cask Malt Whisky. We enjoy a tour of the facility learning about the production and as a memento of our tour, we will receive a gift pack containing an Annandale Whisky glass and a mini bottle of Annandale Whisky to enjoy at home.
Day 3: Today is free for you to explore Carlisle at your own leisure. Perhaps head up to Carlisle Castle which is also home to the Border Regiment Museum, or maybe explore the Cathedral. Carlisle is also home to a number of high street and independent shops for those wishing to grab some festive treats.
Day 4: Today we take a scenic drive into the Lake District to the pretty town of Keswick on the banks of Ullswater. Known as the capital of the North Lakes, this pretty market town offers a wide range of attractions, from shops and restaurants to museums with a difference, and boating trips around Derwentwater.
Later we journey to the pleasant town of Penrith where we have a chance to look around the town. Maybe enjoy a stroll around the cobbled lanes of the town centre, explore the wealth of independent shops or grab a coffee in one of the boutique cafes.
Day 5: Sadly after breakfast we depart our hotel and begin our homeward journey to Norfolk with fond memories of our time in Cumbria. On our arrival we re-join our door to door taxi service who will be waiting to take you home.
