Eastons Finders Keepers Antiques Challenge

The Eastons Antique Challenge is a hunting game played in the company of a TV antiques expert from David Dickinson's Real Deal, Bargain Hunt and, or, Secret Dealers.

So today, we head to Kings Lynn where our expert, James Layte will greet you all at the Marriotts Warehouse Restaurant by the river and enjoy morning coffee.

Over morning coffee and biscuits, you will be given a game briefing with lots of tips from how to spot treasure to how to haggle. James will show you some of the bargains he has bagged locally and will then give each of you a crisp ten pound note.

You will then have 90 minutes to find your treasures around the area’s antique shops before all meeting back at the restaurant for a 2-course lunch followed by tea or coffee.

After lunch, you can grab a drink from the bar ready for the judging! James will look at your finds, discover a few home truths about what you have found and what it might fetch at auction. A winner will be selected based on auction value, quirkiness of the object or a great story that goes with it. The overall winner will get to take home a super trophy and everyone gets to take home what they have bought (you can keep the change too).
