Day 1: Following your home taxi collection, you will join our luxury tour coach and head south west to Cornwall and the town of Falmouth.
Day 2: Today is a day at leisure to explore the delights of Falmouth or relax at the hotel. Maybe take the opportunity to try a spa treatment (not included) or enjoy the leisure facilities at the hotel. Based around a thriving harbour, Falmouth is gateway to the beautiful Fal River which runs through Cornwall's National Landscape. Why not head into the town centre and explore the bustling cobbled streets, or maybe visit the award winning Falmouth Art Gallery (free entry) which is one of the leading galleries in the South West. Don’t miss the chance to visit the National Maritime Museum which houses a huge collection of boats, retells stories of intrepid explorers and provides an observation window where you can see what’s happening underwater in the harbour. (all attractions subject to individual choice and payment)
Day 3: Today we have a full-day tour, driving first via Marazion for some fine views of St Michaels Mount before arriving in Penzance. Nestled in a corner of glorious Mount’s Bay, the town has long been a hidden gem for tourists. When you visit Penzance you’ll encounter all the salt-flecked history you would expect from its famous name – the cobbled alleyways, the bobbing boats and dockside taverns – along with a vibrant local shops. Here you will feel like you’ve discovered authentic Cornwall. We then head to St Ives, a great seafaring town from the middle ages, with the largest fleet of fishing boats on the north coast of Cornwall. It was not until the wall and pier were built to create a safe harbour for the fishing fleet that the town you see today began to form. See the picturesque harbour, stroll along the beach or browse the maze of narrow cobbled streets lined with independent shops and fisherman's cottages.
Day 4: Today we visit the bustling city of Truro, Cornwall’s cathedral city. Centre stage is the impressive Gothic revival cathedral, and in its shadow, a warren of back streets is home to dozens of independent shops and cafes.
We then head to Trebah Gardens - an exotic sub-tropical garden, voted in the top 100 Gardens in the world. Famous for its cascading waterfalls, ponds with giant Koi Carp and streams, which winds down to its own private beach.
Day 5: Sadly this morning we depart our hotel and make our way back to Norfolk. Making suitable stops along the way, we re-join our door to door taxi service who will return us safely to our homes.
