Epping Ongar Railway is the award winning longest heritage railway in Essex and operates on the former end of the Underground Central Line, operating heritage trains between award winning old fashioned stations dating from 1865.
Enjoy a nostalgic day out on Essex’s longest heritage railway. Start at North Weald Station and take a scenic steam train ride through Epping Forest, with a fish & chip lunch and ice cream dessert served onboard. Then, travel on a vintage Routemaster bus to Epping Underground Station and return. Finish your experience with a heritage diesel train ride through the countryside. Due to the nature of the venue, heritage vehicles used and weather – the Itinerary is subject to change.

On arrival back in North Weald, you will be given some free time to explore the station and the gift shop.
