Day 1: Following your home taxi collection you will board our luxury tour coach and we will head north to Cheshire and our hotel for the next 4 nights, the Warners Alvaston Hall on a dinner bed & breakfast basis. There will be entertainment each evening during your stay.
Day 2: This morning we head over the Horseshoe Pass as we make our way to Llangollen. Nestled in the hills of the Dee Valley. Take a stroll along the Victoria Promenade, head into Riverside Park or watch the river tumble down beneath the bridge. Later, we return to Alvaston Hall with the remainder of the day at leisure so you can relax at the hotel and enjoy Warner’s fabulous activities and entertainment.
Day 3: We spend today at leisure to enjoy the facilities at the hotel. Take time to make the most of the large swimming pool, try your hand at archery, or maybe enjoy a tea tasting session where you'll learn the rich history and ritual behind the nation's favourite drink. For something a bit stronger, join a gin tasting class and find out more about this much-loved British tipple! (Some activities involve additional supplements and can be booked whilst in resort. Any bookings are subject to individual choice and payment)
Day 4: This morning we venture to nearby Nantwich. Nestled on the banks of the River Weaver, Nantwich is a town where history meets contemporary charm. Famed for its stunning medieval timber-framed buildings, Nantwich boasts a vibrant town centre filled with independent boutiques, quirky coffee shops, and artisan food producers. Today is also market day!
We then move on to Market Drayton - a pretty Shropshire town. Flanked by gentle waterways and sweeping farmland, Market Drayton is a traditional Shropshire market town with a lively and friendly feel. With origins dating back to before the Domesday Book, the town is a historical treasure trove with many riches to discover. Enjoy some award-winning heritage Billingtons Gingerbread, authentic pubs, and a very warm welcome.
Day 5: Sadly, this morning we depart our hotel and make our way back to Norfolk, making suitable stops along the way. We arrive early evening to find our door to door taxi service waiting to return you home.
