Day 1: Following your home taxi collection, you will join our luxury tour coach and we will head south west to Devon and the seaside resort of Paignton, where we find our hotel for the next 4 nights, the three star Queens Hotel on a dinner bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast, we head to the City of Exeter where we have a guided tour of the cathedral. Discover the history of this magnificent example of Gothic architecture and hear the stories of the people who have lived and worshipped here for nearly a thousand years. The afternoon is free to explore Exeter at leisure. Perhaps visit the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, or wander down to the Quayside with its fascinating history, interesting architecture, lively events, and waterside pubs, restaurants, and cafes. The choice is yours.
Day 3: A day at leisure in Paignton. The great thing about Paignton is that it is a compact resort, with the seafront, pier and town centre shops and tearooms all within close proximity.
Day 4: After breakfast this morning we make our journey to the historic coastal town Sidmouth. It was Sidmouth that captivated the Poet Laureate, John Betjeman - and it will captivate you too. Beautiful gardens and leisurely walks, regency history, clean beaches, and friendly shops… it’s all here in this lovely seaside town that nestles beneath majestic red cliffs and the green hills of the glorious Sid Valley.
Later we visit the Famous Donkey Sanctuary. The history of how this was set up is amazing. You can listen to the talks explaining all about the sanctuary and how they work with other countries all over the world. It’s a must visit.
Day 5: Sadly after breakfast we make our way back to Norfolk, making suitable comfort breaks along the way. Upon arrival in Norfolk, our door to door taxi service will be waiting to take you home.
