Day 1: Following your home taxi collection you will join our luxury tour coach and we will head south to Bournemouth and our hotel for the next 4 nights, the Miramar Hotel on a dinner bed & breakfast basis. On our arrival you can relax with a tea/coffee while your cases are delivered to your rooms.
Day 2: This morning we head to Salisbury. At the city’s heart is Salisbury Cathedral, a beacon that has attracted visitors for centuries. Gathered around the Cathedral is a modern medieval city, full of buildings crafted with the care of another age. At the Cathedral you will find the best preserved of the four original Magna Carta manuscripts dating from 1215AD, and nearby, the famous Cathedral Close houses attractions like Arundells, Mompesson House, The Rifles Military Museum and Salisbury Museum. This afternoon we make our way to the picturesque market town of Romsey in Hampshire. Romsey sits beside the lovely River Test and is home to a multitude of small independent retailers and its winding streets add to Romsey’s charm. Medieval streets cluster around the magnificent Norman Abbey which dominates the town.
Day 3: A day at leisure to relax and enjoy Bournemouth. Its 7 miles of unspoilt sandy beaches are lined with shops, cafés, restaurants and amusements. Enjoy panoramic views from the top of the cliff, ride along promenade and take in the seafront scenery, or enjoy a scoop of ice cream or two!
Day 4: This morning our excursion takes us into the New Forest and the beautiful village of Burley which lies in the heart of the New Forest. With its pretty thatched cottages, old fashioned shops and cosy tea rooms, the village is a must-see for anyone visiting the area. It is also home to one of the county’s best known cider producers – New Forest Cider. Known for its links to witchcraft, you can follow in the footsteps of Burley’s most famous witch, Sybil Leek or browse the shops where you’ll find everything from cauldrons to broomsticks! You cannot escape the beauty of the New Forest in this pretty village. With ponies and cattle roaming free, Burley is the perfect place for any one wanting a real taste of rural England.
This afternoon we continue to Beaulieu, here we can visit the palace house and estate. The National Motor Museum is part of the Beaulieu Attraction, one of the South of England’s top visitor destinations. The Museum is home to a world-famous collection of over 280 vehicles and motoring memorabilia. From legendary Formula One cars and Land Speed Record-breakers, to incredible examples of pioneering motoring, the varied galleries and displays in the National Motor Museum tell the story of motoring on the roads of Great Britain.
Day 5: After a leisurely breakfast we depart and return to Norfolk making suitable stops en route. Upon arrival our door-to-door taxi service will be waiting to return you home.
