Day 1: Following your collection from one of our convenient local joining points, you will join our luxury tour coach and we will make our way to Henley on Thames. Arguably one of the most beautiful towns in England, and recently voted by The Times as one of the best places to live in the English countryside, Henley’s riverside location, surrounded by a Chiltern landscape of wooded hills and green fields, lends itself to relaxation, long lunches and great shopping. After some free time, we make our way to our hotel, for a two night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast, we enjoy free time to explore Royal Windsor. Maybe visit the famous Windsor Castle, or wander around the quaint streets and do some Christmas shopping. (entry to the castle not included)
This evening we enjoy an early dinner at the hotel before we head to Kew Gardens. As one of the highlights of the UK’s festive calendar, Christmas at Kew is an unmissable opportunity to herald the start of Christmas. It’s a botanical world brimming with seasonal cheer as twinkling lights and seasonal sounds fill the air. Discover glittering tunnels of light, dancing lakeside reflections and trees drenched in jewel-like colour. For a moment of reflection, pause at mesmerising flickering flames in the fire garden, wander beneath larger-than-life illuminations and don’t forget to glimpse Father Christmas along the way.
Day 3: After breakfast sadly we depart our hotel and make our way to Marlow. The town is without a doubt one of the loveliest locations on the River Thames, set amongst the rich meadows of the river valley and alongside the woodlands of the Chiltern Hills. The vibrant Georgian market town is made up of historic streets and an abundance of boutique shops, restaurants, cafes and bistros all adding to the town’s unique charm. We later head back to Norfolk and your chosen local joining point.
