Day 1: Joining the coach from one of our convenient local joining points, we start the journey southwest to Devon, arriving at our hotel late afternoon for 4 nights dinner, bed & breakfast. Upon our arrival we will be greeted with tea/coffee and mince pies while your luggage is taken to your rooms.
Day 2: (Christmas Day) - This morning we travel into the Teign Valley to Dawlish. This delightful town is centred around The Lawn and Brook, which is home to the famous black swans. After some time here to explore we make the short journey to the resort of Teignmouth, a stunning coastal town with historical Georgian buildings and long sandy beaches. We then make our way back to the hotel to enjoy a traditional Christmas Day Roast and an evening of festive entertainment.
Day 3: (Boxing Day) - Today we have a day at leisure to enjoy Torquay. Be sure to stroll around its bustling picturesque harbour, or, why not take a boat trip to enjoy the view from a different perspective? (fare not included) Torquay’s many landscaped gardens and scenic walks are the perfect way to spend your time here. Make sure you head back to the hotel from 4:30pm to enjoy tea/coffee and a festive treat. Dinner this evening will be followed by festive cabaret from one of the South West’s leading cabaret acts.
Day 4: (New Years Eve) - After breakfast, we travel to historic Brixham, a maritime treasure with a busy fishing port. Here you can wander the maze of narrow streets or visit one of the many cafes around the harbour and watch the world go by. We then make the short journey to Paignton, a colourful, traditional seaside resort, popular for its mild climate and lively seafront. The great thing about Paignton is that it is a compact resort, with the seafront, pier and town centre shops and tearooms all within close proximity. Our celebration dinner this evening will include a glass of fizz, and be followed by cabaret entertainment and dancing.
Day 5: After breakfast, we depart Torquay for our return journey back to Norfolk, making suitable stops en route. Upon arrival in Norfolk, we will drop you back at your chosen local joining point.
