Day 1: After being collected from your home by taxi, you will join our luxury tour coach as we travel south to Bournemouth and the Marsham Court Hotel, your base for the next four nights on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. On arrival, you can unwind with complimentary tea or coffee while your luggage is delivered to your room.
Day 2: This morning we visit Salisbury. At the heart of the city stands Salisbury Cathedral, a striking landmark that has drawn visitors for centuries. Surrounding it is a beautifully preserved medieval city filled with historic buildings. Inside the Cathedral, you can view the best-preserved of the four original 1215 Magna Carta manuscripts. In the nearby Cathedral Close, you’ll find attractions such as Arundells, Mompesson House, The Rifles Military Museum, and Salisbury Museum. (Entry to attractions is optional and payable individually.)
In the afternoon, we continue to the charming market town of Romsey in Hampshire. Situated beside the River Test, Romsey is known for its independent shops, winding streets, and the impressive Norman Abbey that dominates the town centre.
Day 3: Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure in Bournemouth. With seven miles of pristine sandy beaches lined with shops, cafés, restaurants, and amusements, there is plenty to explore. Take in panoramic views from the clifftops, stroll or take a ride along the promenade, admire the seafront scenery, or simply indulge in an ice cream.
Day 4: Today’s excursion takes us into the New Forest and the picturesque village of Burley. With its thatched cottages, traditional shops, and welcoming tea rooms, Burley offers classic rural charm. The village is also known for New Forest Cider and its intriguing links to witchcraft—follow in the footsteps of Burley’s well-known witch, Sybil Leek, or browse shops selling everything from broomsticks to cauldrons. Free-roaming ponies and cattle add to the authentic New Forest atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we continue to Beaulieu to visit the Palace House and estate. The National Motor Museum, part of the Beaulieu attraction, features a world-renowned collection of more than 280 vehicles and motoring artefacts. From famous Formula One cars and land-speed record breakers to early motoring innovations, the museum’s galleries chart the history of British motoring.
Day 5: After a relaxed breakfast, we depart for Norfolk, making suitable comfort stops along the way. On arrival, your door-to-door taxi service will be ready to take you home.
