Day 1: After joining our luxury tour coach at one of our convenient joining points, we travel southwest to Bristol, making suitable stops enroute. Upon arrival at the Hilton Garden City you will be welcomed with complimentary tea or coffee while your luggage is delivered directly to your rooms, allowing you to settle in and relax before dinner.
Day 2: This morning, we journey to the magnificent city of Bath, famed for its elegant Georgian architecture, sweeping crescents and ancient Roman heritage. Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore at your own pace. Perhaps visit the world-renowned Roman Baths, browse the city’s boutique shops, stroll across the picturesque Pulteney Bridge, or simply relax in one of the many charming cafés. With its rich history and beautiful setting, Bath offers something for everyone.
Day 3: Today, we enjoy a short drive into Bristol, where our visit begins in the beautifully restored Harbourside area. Once a bustling dock filled with sailors, merchants and ships bound for voyages of discovery, the Harbourside has been transformed into a vibrant waterfront district and is now one of the city’s most attractive modern developments.
Our visit includes a fascinating 60-minute Bristol Packet Boat Trip, complete with live commentary that brings the city’s rich maritime history to life. After the cruise, there is free time to enjoy the lively waterfront atmosphere, with its inviting cafés, stylish restaurants, boutique shops and characterful bars. A gentle stroll along the water’s edge reveals Millennium Square, a central hub with fountains and several well-known attractions close by, including Brunel’s SS Great Britain and Bristol Aquarium (entry to these attractions is not included. Whether you choose to explore Bristol’s heritage, browse the markets or simply relax by the water, the Harbourside offers something for everyone.
Day 4: Sadly, today we bid farewell to our hotel and begin our journey back to Norfolk, making suitable stops enroute. On arrival in Norfolk, you will be dropped back at your chosen local joining point.
