Day 1: Following your home taxi collection, we make our way to Scotland, arriving early evening at our hotel in Cumbernauld for our 4 night stay.
Day 2: This morning’s excursion takes us through the forested hills, dramatic mountains and shimmering lochs of the Trossachs—often described as “the Highlands in miniature.”
Our first stop is the Aberfoyle Wool Centre, where we’ll enjoy a fascinating demonstration of highly skilled sheepdogs at work. After some free time to browse and explore, we continue to the beautiful Loch Katrine.
Here, we board a boat for a relaxing cruise across the loch, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. During the journey, enjoy a delicious lunch of soup and a sandwich as you take in the tranquil beauty of this iconic Scottish landscape.
Day 3: Today we visit Scotland’s enchanting capital city, Edinburgh. On arrival, a friendly local guide will join us on board for an informative and engaging city tour, bringing this historic and culturally rich destination to life.
Discover the famous Royal Mile, admire the imposing Edinburgh Castle, and take in the elegant Georgian architecture of the New Town, all while hearing fascinating stories of the city’s past and present.
Following the tour, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Wander the atmospheric cobbled streets, visit one of the many museums or inviting cafés, or simply soak up the unique charm of this unforgettable city.
Day 4: This morning, we journey to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, where picturesque villages line the shoreline and the majestic Ben Lomond rises proudly across the water, creating postcard-perfect views at every turn. Take time to relax and appreciate the peaceful surroundings of one of Scotland’s most beloved landscapes.
Later, we continue to Glasgow, where you’ll have free time to explore the city at your own pace—perhaps browse the shops, admire the striking architecture, or enjoy a refreshment in one of its many cafés—before returning to our hotel for our final evening together.
Day 5: Sadly after breakfast we make our way back to Norfolk making suitable stops enroute. Upon arrival our door to door service will be waiting to return you home.
