Day 1: Following collection from your home by our convenient door-to-door taxi service, you will board our luxury executive coach and begin your journey towards North Wales. Sit back, relax and enjoy the changing scenery as we travel west to our overnight stay at the elegant Faenol Fawr Country House Hotel, beautifully situated in the countryside near St Asaph. This charming country house hotel will be our home for the evening on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, offering a warm welcome and a comfortable start to our Irish adventure.
Day 2: This morning we depart our hotel and travel to Holyhead, where we board our ferry for the crossing to Dublin. Due to our early departure, breakfast will be taken on board the ferry. Upon arrival in Ireland, we continue across the beautiful Irish countryside to County Clare and the charming town of Ennistymon.
Later, we arrive at the 4-star Falls Hotel, our base for the next three nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. This evening, a complimentary drink will be served with dinner.
Day 3: Today is at leisure, allowing you time to relax and enjoy the excellent facilities at the Falls Hotel or explore the surrounding area at your own pace. The hotel is set within beautiful grounds and features a delightful cascading waterfall, creating a wonderfully peaceful setting. Perhaps enjoy a leisurely stroll into the charming town of Ennistymon or simply unwind and make the most of the hotel’s leisure facilities.
Day 4: Today we enjoy a full day at leisure in the vibrant and ever-charming city of Galway, often described as the cultural heart of Ireland. With its colourful shopfronts, lively streets and welcoming atmosphere, Galway perfectly blends traditional Irish heritage with a modern and creative spirit.
Stroll through the famous Latin Quarter, browse the independent boutiques and craft shops, or relax in one of the many cosy cafés and traditional pubs where live Irish music frequently fills the air. You may wish to take a walk along the scenic Salthill Promenade, visit Galway Cathedral or simply soak up the atmosphere around Eyre Square, where street performers and musicians add to the city’s unmistakable charm.
Whether you choose sightseeing, shopping or simply watching the world go by, Galway promises a memorable day full of character and authentic Irish hospitality.
Day 5: This morning we depart Ennistymon and begin our journey towards Ireland’s beautiful east coast, travelling through ever-changing countryside to our first stop of the day — the fascinating Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum.
Step back in time to the 1930s and 1940s, when Foynes was at the heart of pioneering transatlantic air travel. During its golden era, this small Irish port became the gateway between Europe and America, welcoming politicians, Hollywood stars and adventurers alike. Through an impressive collection of artefacts, memorabilia and interactive exhibits, you’ll discover the remarkable story of the flying boat era and Foynes’ important maritime heritage.
No visit would be complete without the opportunity to sample a traditional Irish Coffee, first created here in Foynes.
Later, we continue to Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city, where we check in to Dooley’s Hotel for a relaxing three-night stay on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. On arrival, we are warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink while our luggage is delivered to our rooms.
Day 6: Today we travel to the charming medieval city of Kilkenny, beautifully situated on the banks of the River Nore. With its winding cobbled streets, historic buildings and relaxed atmosphere, Kilkenny is widely regarded as one of Ireland’s most picturesque cities.
On arrival, we are met by the delightful Kilkenny Road Train for a leisurely guided tour through the city’s historic streets. Sit back and enjoy an introduction to Kilkenny’s rich Norman heritage as we pass many of its famous landmarks, including the magnificent Kilkenny Castle, St Canice’s Cathedral and the city’s well-preserved Medieval Mile.
Following the tour, there will be free time to explore at your own pace — perhaps browse the craft shops, relax in a cosy café or simply soak up the atmosphere of this historic and colourful city.
Day 7: Today is free for you to explore Waterford at your own pace and enjoy all that Ireland’s oldest city has to offer. Perhaps discover the treasures of the famous Viking Triangle, where centuries of history come to life, or visit the renowned House of Waterford Crystal to watch skilled craftsmen at work.
You may prefer a leisurely stroll along the quays, some shopping in the city centre or relaxing in one of Waterford’s welcoming cafés and traditional pubs. With its rich heritage, compact layout and friendly atmosphere, Waterford is a delight to explore.
Day 8: Sadly, this morning we bid farewell to Waterford as we begin our journey back towards Dublin Port. On arrival, we board our ferry for the crossing to North Wales. Upon disembarkation, we continue by coach to our overnight hotel in the North Wales area, where we enjoy dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 9: We depart for the journey to Norfolk making suitable stops en-route. Upon arrival, our door to door service home will be waiting to return you home.
