We first head to Windsor for some free time to explore the town before heading to Kew Gardens.

As one of the highlights of the UK’s festive calendar, Christmas at Kew is an unmissable opportunity to herald the start of Christmas or welcome in the New Year. 

It’s a botanical world brimming with seasonal cheer as twinkling lights and seasonal sounds fill the air.

Discover glittering tunnels of light, dancing lakeside reflections and trees drenched in jewel-like colour.

For a moment of reflection, pause at mesmerising flickering flames in the fire garden, wander beneath larger-than-life illuminations and don’t forget to glimpse Father Christmas along the way.

Useful Information:

We will set down and pick up from the Elizabeth Gate. The walking trail at Kew is approximatley 3km long (1.9 miles). The average visit time is 2.5 to 3 hrs. There are a selection of food and drink stalls around the trail. Please ensure you bring adequate winter clothing and footwear as the trail can be cold and uneven in places.

Our entrance time is 1700hrs and we will depart at approx. 2030hrs.

The Christmas Market in the Great Court

Shoppers and foodies can escape the bustle of The High Street and stock-up on festive goodies at the celebrated Christmas Market in The Great Court. The seasonal village of wooden chalets offers everything from inspired Christmas gift ideas to tasty treats.

Grab a perfectly festive bite to eat in the East Courtyard as hand-picked street food vendors bring an indulgent twist to the tempting treats on offer.

Travel to the beautiful Chatsworth Estate situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park for their annual Christmas market with over 100 stalls offering a wide range of gifts and decorations.

The day will also include admission into the house which is transformed with their Christmas displays to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is a firm fixture in the city’s annual calendar and a massive favourite with both residents and visitors to the city from across the UK and Europe. Birmingham comes alive every winter with the arrival of the Market, a clear sign that Christmas is just around the corner. The stalls on Victoria Square and along New Street offer something for everyone.

The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market offers a large range of traditional good and gifts and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your tastebuds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbeer (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate.
